He calls his Water Drop Jug “a drop of water caught in suspended animation.” Along with partner and fellow renowned artist Andi Kovel, Parker has done custom work for Lenny Kravitz, Donna Karan’s New York flagship shop and Ralph Lauren stores. In their Portland, Oregon, design studio, Parker and Kovel transform recycled glass and beer bottles into graceful shapes using an electric furnace that doesn’t emit carbon dioxide.
