Tom Dixon reissues the Wingback chair for our pleasure. The famous English designer created this superb armchair for a very exclusive private club in London. With its curved shapes, the “Wingback” is the feminine, glamorous version of the classic armchair found in English gentlemen's clubs. This resolutely modern creation has a quality specific to the craft tradition. The generous padding, wide seat and high wrap-around backrest ensure optimal comfort. This chair becomes a screen that envelops us and protects us from prying eyes. Thanks to the sturdy steel springs in the seat, the Wingback will keep its shape over time. The high-end Kvadrat fabric really makes the most of the armchair's lines. The legs are in black lacquered solid oak. From the collaboration between Tom Dixon and George Smith, the Wingback collection combines the best of contemporary design and traditional craftsmanship.
