今天要介绍的是由美籍设计师Isamu Noguchi设计，由Herman Miller出品的Noguchi Rudder Table。Isamu Noguchi是一位善于实践，学习，创造的设计师，作品常常介于公共和私人，艺术与设计之间。这款桌子由木头和镀铬钢制成。远远看上去，细细的金属制桌腿几乎想消失了一般，营造出桌面仅有船舵状木质桌腿支撑的神奇结构。
Noguchi Rudder Table features an asymmetrical form composed of mixed materials: warm wood and sleek chromed steel. The shape of its top – the same as that of the renowned Noguchi® Table – and the combination of metal and wood legs are true to Noguchi’s original design. At a quick glance, the subtle metal hairpin legs almost disappear, suggesting the top rests solely on the rudder-shaped wood leg, imparting airiness to the whole.
