For more than 30 years, Giulio Lazzotti has maintained a diverse practice encompassing architecture, interior design and furniture design. He received the Torre Guinigi prize for his design for the historical center of Pietrasanta, Italy, and he is internationally recognized for his work in marble – so much so that he often teaches at the Academy of Art in Carrara, Italy (home to the famous white Carrara marble quarries). When he designed our Quovis Collection, developed with an Italian restaurant equipment manufacturer, he set the standard for quality stainless steel utility furniture. Ideal for use in a kitchen as extra counter space or as a mobile island or breakfast table, the Quovis Counter-Height Table (2001) is compact and tall enough to accommodate counter stools. The H-shaped support underneath provides ample legroom on each side, and the 24-inch depth matches the size of most countertops. In addition to being easy to clean and maintain, this Table will not rust and is constructed to endure years of use. Comes equipped with durable four-inch casters, two of which lock.
